Clinic Volunteer
The Clinic Volunteer plays a vital role in planning and leading a variety of engaging activities tailored to the needs of children and youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other learning and developmental delays. The Clinic Volunteer will help create a safe, organized, and positive camp environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and skill development while accommodating behavioral challenges.
Training Schedule:
Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 330PM-630PM
Camp schedule to be determined based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee diverse daily activities, creating an engaging and supportive atmosphere
Aid in picking activities, motivating team participation and imaginative thinking.
Proactively encourage positive behavior and teamwork, addressing behavioral challenges as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe activity environment at all times.
Complete incident reports in Microsoft Teams within 24 hours as per regional requirements.
Provide professional, positive, and respectful communication updates regarding behavior to caregivers
Qualifications:
We encourage current university students pursuing careers in Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Behaviour Analysis, Education, Early Childhood Development or Psychology.
Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening and legally authorized to work in Canada
Experience in program coordination, recreationally-centered or community-based work is an asset.
Experience working with a group of children with diverse needs is an asset.
